how i got there



2017 until now

After 4 years of a startup rollercoaster ride, I am now dedicated to transferring the knowledge and mindset I gathered to challenges faced by big and mid-sized corporates in Germany and abroad. I also keep very much involved in the startup scene of Hamburg, Berlin, London and Amsterdam, looking for ways to add value, as for example a mentor at Startupbootcamp.

Latest projects:
Leading FMCG - development of an e-commerce and groceries instant-delivery platform running a startup team within the corporate client.

Leading Bank - Development of a Lean Analytics framework for their SAAS application (high 6 digit number of paid users) including the design of experiments to boost their key metric.

Leading Car Manufacturer - creation of 5 internal startups to develop an integrated and scalable e-commerce solution for new and used cars, parts, service and digital products. 
    - preparation of an strategic framework for approval by the board (Vertrieb Vorstand)
    - cross department alignment and integration of existing team in the planned structure
    - initialization of new teams
    - concept development and execution of an internal accelerator program to deliver the first version of the products (MVP)
    - mentoring of the teams regarding design thinking, agile and lean.

Pharmaceutical company - research, ideation of digital concepts and initial evaluation of market potential & business case around Traditional Chinese Medicine products for Western Europe markets.

Leading Car Manufacturer- Performance Audit of the development process of an international retail digitalization app. 


2018 until now

2012 - 2017

Lead the way from idea generation to selling the company’s technology. Launched fast & lean. Iterated like crazy to build a solid product. Raised two funding rounds. Gathered a team of 11 talented people from around the world. Closed partnerships. Was awarded Best European Startup of 2015 by the European Commission & Digital Disruptor by the BBC. 

During my time working closely with him he was both a mentor and a partner. Thanks to him everybody in the team felt involved and empowered in every strategic decision the company was taking.

colgate-palmolive gmbh - senior product manager

2007 - 2013

Managed the go-to-market, launch and multi million marketing campaigns for Colgate’s main products in Germany. I drove alignment & buy-in from senior management and CEO. Had P&L and team responsibility.

2004 - 2005

Worked in three different properties, from an Accor 4-Star hotel in Central London to an exclusive Eco Lodge in the Brazilian wetlands. I rotated through main operational functions. By doing that I got a full overview of the inner working of a hotel.
